  • Katie approaches coaching with unconditional positive regard and non-judgement regardless of social/ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

  • The six pillars of lifestyle medicine, whole-food plant-based predominant eating pattern, adequate exercise, restorative sleep, positive social connections, avoidance of risky substance and stress management, are the keys to optimal health based on the most up to date research. 

  • An integrative whole-person approach (e.g., mind, body, spirit) is important for healing and wellness.

Will you tell me what to do?

 A resounding "no!" You are in the driver's seat, and I am in the passenger seat helping you get from point A to B. I will ask you powerful questions and help you explore your values to connect what about this health change is important for you. I will help you create your own personal wellness plan and support you in staying accountable. I will use specific techniques to help you resolve ambivalence around behavior change and support you in moving forward despite obstacles. I believe you are the expert on your own life!

Where is coaching conducted?

Coaching is conducted virtually via Zoom.

Why do you charge what you do? 

You are paying for the value you are receiving and investing in your future. You will pay less in the future if your health and well-being is optimized. Please inquire with your HSA or FSA to see if health coaching is a covered service, and you will be provided with a detailed receipt of service to submit. Discounts are offered to first responders and 65+. 

Do you work with teens?

Coaching teens and young adults can be very helpful for building resilience and positive habits for current and future well-being. I offer integrative health and wellness coaching using a wellness wheel tailored for unique aspects of teen life.

Do you work with people outside of the United States?

Yes! Katie works with English speaking individuals from any continent with access Zoom.
