Teen Wellness Coaching

  • This package is ideal for the teen who is looking to improve mindset, define purpose, develop resilience, and create healthy habits for a lifetime of success.

  • Tools, resources and assessments are uniquely tailored for this age group. 12 sessions of weekly or biweekly coaching are included.

Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching

  • This package is for individuals seeking a holistic, lifestyle-based approach for improving their health and well-being.

  • 12 sessions include initial assessment of lifestyle, vision for health, goal development and weekly or biweekly coaching.​

Virtual Coffee & Coaching

  • This is a weekly one hour drop-in group to receive coaching with other individuals on a specific topic of the week.

  • Topics range from meal planning to quick stress-relief tools to sleep hygiene. 

  • Following a brief presentation, Katie will provide coaching in a group format to support participants in how they might implement strategies in their own lives.​

  • You are the expert on your own life.

  • Katie approaches coaching with unconditional positive regard and non-judgement regardless of social/ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

  • The six pillars of lifestyle medicine, whole-food plant-based predominant eating pattern, adequate exercise, restorative sleep, positive social connections, avoidance of risky substance and stress management, are the keys to optimal health based on the most up to date research. 

  • An integrative whole-person approach (e.g., mind, body, spirit) is important for healing and wellness.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Will Katie tell me what to do? A resounding "no!" You are in the driver's seat, and Katie is the navigator helping you get from point A to B. She will ask you powerful questions and help you explore your values to connect what about this health change is important for you. She will help you create your own personal wellness plan and support you in staying accountable. Katie will use specific techniques to help you resolve ambivalence around behavior change and support you in moving forward despite obstacles. Katie believes you are the expert on your own life!

 

Does my insurance cover coaching costs? At this time, health coaching is not a service covered by insurance. However, coaching may be covered by your HSA or FSA so please check with your plan for coverage information. A detailed receipt of service will be provided as needed.

 

Do you offer discounts? A 15% discount is offered to first responders and 65+. I believe coaching should be accessible to all individuals regardless of income. Therefore, a sliding scale is offered on a case-to-case basis according to circumstance and need.​

​

Where is coaching conducted? Coaching is conducted virtually via Zoom to English speaking individuals from any country.
